European Industry Stakeholder Workshop
-- REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 9 --
Please note that the starting time of the workshop has been changed to 10 am on 22 March!
The PHOENIX initiative will hold the first European industry stakeholder workshop in Frankfurt. Based on national stakeholder interactions, this workshop aims to inform you about the PHOENIX initiative and first concrete activities.
The PHOENIX initiative was initiated in 2017 as a joint undertaking of the EU member states Germany, France, the Netherlands, in close collaboration with Cefic. PHOENIX will function as an umbrella initiative linking national and European RD&I activities with respect to CO2 valorisation to ensure an optimal use of public funding and private investment. On 22nd of February, the PHOENIX initiative was officially launched at the EU INDUSTRY DAY in Brussels where other member states were invited to join the initiative. In a first concrete step we intend to work closely with the European Commission to establish an “Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI)“ which offers unique opportunities in promoting CO2 valorisation technologies.
At the workshop we would like to inform you about the PHOENIX initiative as well as the IPCEI instrument. We are actively looking for your feedback to design the IPCEI as a powerful instrument to support CO2 valorisation and facilitate the market entry. Additionally, we will offer an opportunity for you to find potential European partners and eventually develop ideas for first European demonstration projects on CO2 valorisation on larger scale.
If you are interested in joining this event, please return the registration form (see below) no later than the 9th of March 2018.
